Friday
-Rockin’ Hair Body and Soul: Book your holiday weekend tan with Abi Esthetics located at Rockin’ Hair on the historical downtown square. Book a spray tan with Abbie Leach.
-Book an outdoor adventure/experience with T & A Adventure Outfitters, they have a store located on the downtown square you can visit for all the outdoor adventure supply you need. Rent paddle boards, kayaks, RV’s, camping gear and more!
-Dino Hills Disc Golf - Go play some disc golf and enjoy the creativity of the courses and in the beautiful hills of Glen Rose.
-Go axe throwing and have a drink at Sexton Mill for a unique outdoor bar and restaurant located on the Paluxy River. Listen to the Joe Savage band live on Friday July 2nd.
Saturday
-Kick off your morning with a coffee and pastries at the Grand Opening of Crave Bakery just off the square and stay to watch the parade!
Open 6am-9pm with events happening all day long! Take a selfie, meet the owners, and enjoy a treat for yourself and your pet! Quality ingredients with gluten-free and keto options.
Watch the Hometown Independence parade as it goes through the square at 9am. After visit the local shops and have lunch at Storiebook Cafe. There will be activities on the square hosted by local businesses form 9am-12pm.
-Adam Hull will be playing at Sexton Mill from 1-3pm if you want to enjoy some live music and drinks!
-Take a stroll down the River Walk to cool off at Big Rocks park on the Pauluxy River, grab a snow cone at the Snow Shack located next to Big Rocks park. Snow shack also has mini golf and more!

-For a little nightlife action and food visit Blackies on the square or head out to Local Coyote Grill for BBQ and brews.
Sunday
Grab a cooler and pack your food for the day at Wheeler Brand Reservoir! Gates open at 7am and it gets packed quickly. Fish, swim, paddle board, float, jump off the dock, and kayak in the clear water. Fun for the whole family!
